World Briefing - United Nations - Europe’s Cocaine Market Said to Grow - NYTimes.com: "world’s $88 billion cocaine market is shifting toward Europe and destabilizing transit countries in West Africa, even as total production falls, according to a United Nations report released Wednesday. Europe’s cocaine market is worth $34 billion, almost as much as that of North America, the world’s biggest consumer, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime said in its annual report."
