Costa del villas - Marbella to use YouTube to promote region: "Marbella to launch YouTube channel to attract new holidaymakers
Marbella town hall will use popular online video hub YouTube to promote itself as one of the most popular holiday resorts in Europe following the successful launch of the new website Marbella Exclusive.
The concept behind the YouTube channel is to encourage holidaymakers to post videos taken of their time in Marbella and the surrounding resorts such as Puerto Banus, Elviria and Ojen. With so many different attractions including a host of fantastic beaches, lively nightlife and top class restaurants, the tourist board for Marbella believe the best way to collate all of the information is by using real tourist videos.
The channel is due to be launched at the beginning of 2011 and it is hoped that the videos will be used both to attract new holidaymakers to the area and give those already in Marbella ideas about places to visit.
Plans are in place to stream the content into a number of hotels in Marbella ensuring the videos are broadcast to a wide range of visitors."
