Woman dies in Málaga in latest domestic violence attack: "37 year old woman has died in Málaga City today, Tuesday, after being attacked with an axe, allegedly by her ex partner, a 41 year old man who has now been arrested. The attack happened in broad daylight in the street.

The National Police say it happened at around 0930 in the morning in Calle Villafuerte in the El Palo area of the city, and that both victim and attacker are Spanish.

It’s understood the man was the subject of a distancing order in place after a previous episode of domestic violence. He was arrested a short time after the killing.
The couple had a young son in common."
